When you start playing the game, you will default to Campaign mode to confront each opponent. Each match will compete in 1vs1 basketball on the soccer field for 60 seconds. Simple Arrow and Letter Control Scheme
The control mechanism in Head Basketball includes letters R, L, Swing, Jump, and Ability to perform various actions. Moving on the court involves tapping R or L to move forward or backward. Combine Swing to block shots or steal the ball from the opponent. Jump is used to leap, and when the head contacts the basketball, it will hit the ball toward the opponent’s basket based on the contact point. Finally, Ability is a special skill unique to each character, activated when the orange energy bar is full, allowing for a special shot that the opponent cannot block.

Each mode revolves around basketball matches but follows its unique gameplay style, with rules and conditions set by the system, such as participants and tasks to be completed during the match. In the Tournament mode, a competition unfolds with many participants representing different countries such as the USA, UK, Russia, etc., each choosing a national flag as their symbol. This mode is divided into rounds, with two players from different countries competing to advance to the next round. To win the championship, you must win all rounds.

With 46 different characters, you will have a fascinating head-to-head basketball experience. Each character is designed with a large head and limbs but nobody. They differ in appearance, hairstyle, and accessories like glasses and hats. Examples include a dark ninja, superhero, player, monster, and special forces shooter. Each character also has a unique special skill to prevent opponents from blocking them. You start the game with a default character, a boy named Taemin, who has an anger skill that creates a fiery effect when throwing the ball. Other characters need to be unlocked by purchasing them with money. Alternatively, playing the Unlimited Money version of Head Basketball allows you to buy all characters right when you join the game.
Skill Effects
Skill effects in Head Basketball are highly emphasized when characters use their skills. When a skill is activated, it changes the surrounding environment during the match. Additionally, the basketball transforms into various shapes depending on the character you control. For instance, when the dark ninja activates his skill, the basketball turns into a shuriken, the environment darkens, and white light radiates around the spinning shuriken.
